The swivel seat base with a RHD Handbrake Relocation Kit . TUV approved. Fits the drivers side on right-hand drive T5s and T6.

Allows you to rotate the driver’s seat to face the living area of your van – when stationary, of course!

Please Note: Can only be used on vehicles with a walkthrough these can not be used with a fixed twin seat / Double Seat in front

Swivel Seat for Driver’s Seat T5/T6

Note – following installation an engineering certificate should be obtained to cover the altering of the seat anchorage.

Key steps to rotate backwards are
– Slide Seat forward
– raise seat height (to prevent plastic seat skirt catching)
– angle backrest forward
– Ensure Steering wheel is telescopically as far forward as possible and in the highest position
– raise lever under front of seat and swivel clockwise from North to South (through East – assume the front of the vehicle is ‘North’)
Once swivelled slide seat further back (towards front) to maximise cabin space.
Reverse this procedure to re-orient the swivel to the forward facing position for travel.
Always have the seat in the forward facing position for travel. 
– Note – the Driver’s Side Swivel operates the same way however requires the steering wheel to be telescopically placed to the most forward position
The swivel is engineered and made in Germany and is able to be certified by your engineer (or ours) for fitting to your passenger (or Driver’s) side front seat.
The kit includes the swivel and the 4 high-tensile bolts for affixing the seat to the swivel. The Swivel affixes to the seat base using the original factory OEM bolts that fix the seat to the base.

COMPLIANCE NOTE:  These German designed & manufactured seat swivels are designed to conform to the internationally accepted European regulations. If you modify a seat anchorage in a vehicle most state and territory regulations will require an Engineering Compliance Certificate to be issued. To do this the engineer will wish to inspect the hardware itself (ie, the swivel) and the installation of the swivel.

The Swivel is TüV approved in Germany and is regularly accepted by authorised automotive engineers in various states and territories of Australia. The engineer will generally have the LK2 certification authority for seat anchorage changes.

 NOTE: The certificate cost is unchanged for one or two swivels. i.e. You will double your engineering costs if you add one passenger swivel and have it complied, then add the driver’s swivel later. If you add both at once, then the one certificate will cover both.
