This 173Ah 12V slimline battery has been made with the ease of connectivity in mind. Whether your device uses USB A, USB C, cigarette lighter socket, 50A Anderson connector or 175A Anderson connector, this battery has got you covered. Further, the USB C has PD up to 45W and 20V, meaning that you can charge laptops and iPads with this charger.

• T6.1 Multivan that hasn’t been fit out as a camper already and does not have second battery from factory
• T6.1 Transporter that hasn’t been fit out as a camper already and does not have second battery from factory

If your van has electric seats it will require an additional 1.5 hours of labour.

It even has an input where you can connect an unregulated solar panel (if used in
conjunction with a Redarc BCDC)

The 200A JBD BMS with Bluetooth makes it very easy to check and set parameters of your battery to ensure it’s perfectly customised to your needs.

The Quality EVE cells that are used in the battery mean that you will enjoy these batteries for many years to come.

The case is made of stainless steel and has a built in display that lets you monitor all aspects of the battery and allows you to disable discharge, when connecting or disconnecting big loads to avoid sparking.

The case is made of stainless steel and has ventilation to atmosphere via venting adaptor and tube, ensuring full AS/NZS 3001.2:2022 compliance.

Redarc Core Input 40A In-vehicle DC Battery Charger

RedArc 40A charger fits into the cradle on the right hand side of the lithium battery within the seat box.

The REDARC BCDCN1240 is a 12V In-vehicle DC to DC battery charger suitable for battery types including lithium, AGM, GEL, standard lead acid and calcium 

It is used in the camper van to charge from the vehicle alternator (engine) to the auxiliary / secondary battery – and can be used as part of our IEC Certified 160Ah Underseat Lithium Battery solution for VW Campervans, amongst other battery products.

The REDARC BCDCN1240 In-vehicle Battery Charger is a 12V 40A In-vehicle DC to DC battery charger where charging solution for in-cabin, canopy, or battery box setups where dust and weatherproofing isn’t required.

Lithium Ready 

With chemistry specific charging profiles, including lithium the BCDC Core ensures your batteries are ready for your next adventure. The award-winning technology in the BCDC Core has been independently verified and tested to ensure battery life is maximised, charging your battery to a proven 100%.  As a guide the BCDC Core 40A is typically used for lead acid battery banks over 200Ah and lithium batteries over 100Ah. Check the manufacturer’s data for your battery and ensure that the ‘Continuous Current Rating’ of the charger does not exceed the manufacturer’s recommended maximum charging current.
